70 teams spent a year of hard work fundraising and preparing 20+ year old cars for a week of country driving – and a lot of fun.

The teams gathered in Newcastle then headed out through Singleton, Mudgee, Orange and Forbes to Griffith for a break to get their cars running again.

Then the journey meandered through Jerilderie, Wagga Wagga, Culcairn, Tumut and Jugiong and on to a grand finish in Canberra for a dinner at Old Parliament House to celebrate the great fundraising effort of over $1.2m – the highest per car average of any bash in Australia.

Along the way the teams visited many schools, some remote schools with only 25 students along with larger ones in the regional centres. After showering the kids with presents the esCarpadians then joined the Camp Quality puppets sharing the message of the work that CQ does supporting children with cancer and their families.

EventPix sponsored the complete photo coverage of the event for the sixth year running.
